EMERGENCY SERVICES: EDGEWATER POLICE DEPARTMENT - DETECTIVE'S DIVISION   The Edgewater Police Department Detective Bureau has three detectives, dedicated primarily to conducting criminal investigations. Detectives also process arrests and take fingerprints for firearms ID or liquor license applicants. They often coordinate with the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office, neighboring area law enforcement, and state forensic laboratories to carry out their responsibilities.
