WHEN TO PAY TAXES:

Tax payments are due quarterly:
February 1st
May 1st
August 1st
November 1st

There is a 10 calendar day grace period.
However, interest accrues from the original
due date for any payment thereafter.

At the end of the fiscal year a penalty of 6% will be charged on any delinquency in excess of $10,000.00 (N.J.S.A. 54-67). Tax sales are held annually, traditionally in June.

Edgewater is on a State Fiscal Year. Tax bills are mailed twice a year during the months of January and July. The January bill has the first and second quarters which are due February 1 st and May 1 st . The July bill has the third and fourth quarters which are due August 1 st and November 1 st . back to top
