Temporary Handicap Placards are valid for 6 months, and are intended for residents who are expected to heal from a temporary injury. Residents who are in need of temporary placards can stop by the Police Station to pick up an Application to apply for the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Services for Temporary Handicapped Placard. Permanent Handicap Placards are not obtainable from the Borough or the Police Department. Please see the New Jersey State Motor Vehicle Commission for all information on permanent placards.General
